Spark Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Lee esta política en español

This policy explains how LR Studio SpA (Chilean tax ID 78.526.371-5), which publishes its apps under the Rainbow Tech brand ("we"), handles information in the game Spark: Light It Up for iPhone and Android ("Spark"). It complements our general privacy policy (in Spanish); where they differ, this policy applies to Spark.

In short

  • Spark does not ask for an account, name or email.
  • The microphone, camera, motion sensors and location are used only as game mechanics, on your phone. They are not recorded or sent anywhere.
  • The game is free. The only ad is a video that you choose to watch to get a hint.
  • To show those ads, process the "Spark No Ads" purchase, measure the game and fix crashes we use third-party providers (Google, RevenueCat and Tenjin). What they receive is explained below.
  • You can change your ad choices at any time in Settings › Ad privacy inside the game.

What stays on your phone

Your progress, settings (sound, flashes, tilt) and language are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.

Some levels use the microphone (for example, to blow), the camera, motion and step sensors, location (to work out where the sun or north is) and local notifications. All of this is processed in the moment on the phone: we do not record audio or send images or coordinates, and none of it leaves the device. If a level lets you save a photo to your gallery, it stays on your phone. You can deny or remove any of these permissions in your system settings; levels that need them offer another way forward.

Ads (Google AdMob)

When you choose to watch a video for a hint, the video is served by Google AdMob. To do so, Google's SDK receives technical device data: IP address, device model and OS, language, information about your interaction with the ad and, if you allow it, the device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, advertising ID on Android). Google uses this data to serve and measure the ad, prevent fraud and, with your consent, show personalized ads. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

  • EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any ad we ask for your consent with Google's form. You can accept, reject or choose options, and change your decision at any time in Settings › Ad privacy.
  • iPhone: iOS asks whether you allow tracking. If you say no, the IDFA is not used.
  • United States: you can opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your data for personalized advertising in Settings › Ad privacy.
  • If you buy Spark No Ads, you will not see videos again.

Purchases (Apple, Google and RevenueCat)

The "Spark No Ads" purchase is charged by Apple or Google. We never see your card details. To validate and restore purchases we use RevenueCat, which receives the store receipt, an anonymous app user ID, your country and your Spark purchase history. RevenueCat privacy policy.

Analytics and crashes (Firebase)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the game is played and fix crashes. They receive an app installation ID, game events (for example, starting or lighting a level, asking for a hint, watching a video or buying), device model, OS version, approximate country and, if the app crashes, the technical crash details. They do not include your name, email or personal content. Privacy in Firebase.

Install attribution (Tenjin)

We use Tenjin to know which campaign or ad brought you to Spark and whether our advertising works. It receives the IP address, technical device data, install and open events, ad and purchase revenue, and the advertising identifier only if you allow it. Tenjin privacy policy.

Legal bases

For users in the EEA and regions with similar rules: we use data for personalized advertising and tracking only with your consent; to show non-personalized ads, measure the game, prevent fraud and fix crashes, based on our legitimate interest in keeping Spark working and free; and to process your purchase, because it is necessary to give you what you bought.

International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States or other countries, with the safeguards required by law, such as the European Union's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

Game data on your phone: until you delete the app. Analytics and crash data: for the period set by those services (generally between 2 and 14 months). Purchase data: as long as needed to restore purchases and as required by law. Support emails: while the case is open.

Age

Spark is intended for people aged 13 and over and is not directed to children. If you believe a child under 13 has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

  • Advertising: Settings › Ad privacy, inside Spark.
  • Advertising identifier: on iPhone, Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking; on Android, Settings › Google › Ads (you can delete or reset it).
  • Permissions: microphone, camera, motion, location and notifications can be removed in your system settings.
  • Access, correction or deletion: email [email protected]. Because Spark has no accounts, we do not know who you are; deleting the app and resetting your advertising identifier breaks the link between your past data and your device.
  • If you are in the EU, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

We do not sell your data for money. Personalized advertising may count as "sharing" data under some US state laws; you can opt out as described above.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the game.
